Planning remote work
How we plan remote trips
Working around the wet season
Many Cape roads close or become unreliable during the wet. We plan remote testing for the drier months where possible, and adjust when access changes.
Road, air or barge
Depending on the community and the season, we travel by road, by air or with equipment sent ahead by barge, and plan the trip around what gets us there reliably.
Several sites in one trip
Where it suits the client, we group several buildings or neighbouring communities into a single trip, so each journey covers as much work as possible.
Records left with you
Before we leave, the client is given full test records for the site, so results stay on hand long after the trip is over.
